disappointment in literacy.

ah, how foolish the boy was, to have thought that everything was going to be simple.

but he forgot all past experiences and the eccentric nature of humans.

having done so much, he sought, a little form of gratitude, but all he found, was not even a simple thank you. in fact, he was shocked by the words, "what have you done?"

thinking back, perhaps what he has done was really nothing. perhaps... that's what the boy would like to believe, that it actually amounted to something.

but he has not forgotten the joy, the joys of times past and now perhaps forgotten by others. he cherishes all that he has embraced, and holds them close to his bosom. not letting a little bit of any of it fade away.

if only the other could realise his intentions. i do not blame the boy for his foolishness.

how could anyone blame him? he wanted the other to feel special and he goes out of his way, sacrificing means and time, to put colour into her life, to see the other smile, through the way he only knows how.

and yet, the other never realises it. perhaps, the other sees it as...

Normal for the boy to do such things.

but is it normal for someone to continue to always try to make someone else feel : special, blessed, happy, top of the world?

Perhaps he was guided by different signs,

sometimes its, " come on =) " , other times its " get lost "

and he feels all, confused.

one mistake little boy, the most painful part about love,

no one asked you to do it for the other.

you only have yourself to blame.

good bye little boy... i think I'll miss you as much as I'll miss alekx.

Alekx left for Australia this evening, I'll be missing her a lot, ah... yes, I'll miss her a whole lot. cant bear the wait till December!

No body knows

Listening to "stand by me" by Oasis right now.

Today's Topic.

The Meaning of LIFE.

Life, is based on-----

haha, just joking.

lets talk about mail.

Mail has been an integral part of our lives since the 1950s. Right after the war, most phone lines were destroyed but people had to find a way to communicate between long distances, and turned to mail instead.

it was during that time that snail-mail's unshaken foundation was set.

up to today, even though Fax machines, the Internet, Phone lines are much faster than snail mail, snail mail is still widely used today, even in government sectors. The reason for its popularity in the government sector is because of security.

Fax machines, the Internet, Phone lines can be easily tapped-into by a foreign subject. This is because the above facilities are based on wave-lines. These waves can be received by almost any electrical board, and thats the reason why you seem to hear fuzzy or buzzing noises near electrical appliances at times. If the electrical board was well-tuned to received and INTERPRET the waves, then the information would be accessed by foreign subjects EASILY, without letting the Original Receiver and Sender know that the information was being tapped into. This does not allow security at all.

Taking a look at letters and envelopes, we know that the information was accessed if we see that the letter or envelope was opened or tampered with. Each Official letter that holds confidential information has a bar-code, this practise is not only used in government sectors, but in big companies as well. Once the recipient recieves the letter, the recipient will find a way to inform the Sender about the letter and repeat the bar-code, and thus checking whether the letter was the original authentic one.

this practise helps to counter one big defect of snail-mail. The Letter holding the information could have been opened and the letter replaced, thus making the tampered letter seem as if it was the original, however, the replaced letter doesnt not have the specific bar-code, and thus, the recipient will know that the letter was tampered with.

the recipient can then track down the route in which the letter took before reaching its destination and find wout what happened to the letter. This service is made available by the post office.

cool isnt it? im quite pleased with all that.. simply because it was all part of memory work.

oh, by the way, i have photographic memory, which means i remember things through pictures, including written articles. haha

I've linked Ryan's blog! you have to read it man, its nice!

alright, BAND CAMP!

it was quite tiring actually, intensive training, tiresome....

mornings were mostly sectionals followed by practice and lunch.

after lunch it was main band practice again till dinner, afterwhich, it was main band practice again.

as you can see, it is VERY intensive.

after the night's band practice, it was supper, shower time and lights out.

the next day it would be the same thing.

playing the trumpet over and over again is no joke.

especially if you're screaming high notes all the time.

but i have to admit something good, it did train up my endurance. hopefully my endurance stays. heh!

alright. damn tired right now. see ya!

Humanity

What does being human really mean?

Our true likes are shown in the most terrible of times. Oh we can all be so Noble.

When a woman cuts your queue en route up an escalator in a train station, you frown and think of 101 ways to make her pay back. However, when the train station is threatened by a Bomb-threat, everyone helps each other to get out of the station quickly, letting the women and children go up the escalator first, not caring whether she cuts your queue.

Of course there are always those who would scurry up and not care about anyone else, pushing and shoving their way through. Believe me when i say the next sentence; Given the Chance again, They will not do the same.

Why is it that we cannot be so generous when in times of peace?

Simple, our culture tells us that getting there first is good.

First place is good, getting to the finish line first is good. NOBODY remembers Second place.

how many first places can there be? only one... and this, continually chasing of first place, breeds the selfish thinking of, all for me.

and this results in : I COME FIRST.

I MUST GO AHEAD OF THE PERSON UP THAT ESCALATOR SO THAT I CAN REACH THERE FIRST.

FIRST, FIRST, FIRST.

afterall, it's always said, nice guys finish last.

so, those who keep gunning for first place..... hm...

is this what you are? Selfish?

You are only one person in this world.

1 / 6 BILLION people....

might as well say its nothing.

but if you care for your community, letting others go first, caring for others.

your not only one person, but ONE COMMUNITY.

like the community of Chinese people around the world....

sure beats 1 / 6 billion.

if you lookout for one another.... others will lookout for you.

that, Comradeship.... sure beats anything that First Place can give you.

First Place gives us rewards. but can these rewards buy the loyalty, trust, love, concern and selflessness that comradeship gives?

i highly doubt it.

Anyway? What's so bad about being in second place?

LITERATURE
Tuesday, June 03, 2008 7:34 PM
hello everyone!

TODAY IS, 06/06/08, tuesday.

woke up early to go play soccer with Gerard, Yuan Qing, Pravin, Danial and Shad. The six of us met at around, 10? so we played for about an hour.

i'm actually pretty pleased with my soccer. I'm running alot more and i'm a little bit quicker than i used to be.Shooting Accuracy is still a major problem though, gotta work on it when i have time.

anyways, we left at about, 11.20? We had to attend a literature workshop at marina boulevard, with starts at 12! but we got on to the bus "107" at 12 la! so like, super late, most of us slacked during the journey, with me sleeping on the trip! hee hee.

oh yeah, we played soccer right? so i was wearing this pair of shorts la, but i didnt wanna change out of it, so i went to the CBD in SHORTS, i'll post a picture next time.

back to the story. we went for the lit thingy and all and we left. On the way out, the place was filled with students, so much so that the lifts were overcrowded.

so anyways, while i was waiting for a lift, one came by.... but! it was totally crowded. haha, the door opened but none of us went in. But of course, true to myself, i tried to be an idoit, haha i know that i the lift was already going down, but i pretended to go in and all la. but it was so obvious i was pretending, being a clown all, so i made all the people in the lift laugh, and they were all waving to me all.

haha! and i got someone's name too! perhaps a new friend! heh!

ah.. to lazy to write everything, so. see ya!

Chin Hong;
My name is Chin Hong, Crafted nine months before 5th of March 1992.

Interesting fact?

Give me a pen and some paper, i'll write you a poem

By the way, i enjoy walks in the park and good music, bring the coffee too!

I :

Play soccer

Play Table Tennis

Play the Trumpet

Enjoy reading

Enjoy writing

I make the same mistake... until i get it right

stuff you can get me;

EMPTY

Stuff i don't like.

Don't ever say," you should trust me as friend that i would not do such a thing" and break it like a certain person did.

The good side of me.

I don't bear grudges.

but sometimes i find it hard to say sorry, and forgive a person.

i admit i'm flawed.

Give a chance and i'll do my best to prove myself.

I am a christian, but not a very good one.

i admit i swear and lie

Get to know me and you'll find out!

Put together;

not reserved at all

Maybe elsewhere?
