umm, i've been wondering about stuffs.

ONE, I think if theres still a concert next year, i'll play Haydn's Concerto for Trumpet Mvt 2 & 3.

TWO, I've asked Eleanor to be my pianist if it happens, but is it like damn Busted to ask her? after all thats happened?

THREE, Get back all Old Friendships.

okay, all of these, almost none look certain.

oh yeah, my studies are picking up, and i feel i would do better, if i had planned my time better during tests.

ah well, it does feel good to get things done.

and yeah, listening to the recording of POTC during concert. not that bad.

oh yeah. there was one day, me and jasper saw this girl called marilyn, i vaguely remember as the girl in charge of the water thingy at the primary few years back.

I told jasper, i think thats Ernest's friend marilyn, then he was like, MARILYN?!

then he kept on saying, Marilyn Manson maybe to bug her. haha

i thought he knew her, but he doesnt haha. so not all catholics know each other.

OKAY!!!!

let us start with tuesday, after school, went for soccer, before heading to band room. we had to bring our instruments to VCH!

okay. on the bus. me and jia wei sat together, and just did nothing.

at VCH. ah. forget it .

i'll just jump to concert day...


concert day. the band waited for the audience to settle..... and once the time was right, the air flickered with anticipation, the emcees, mumbling their words,and the audience, waiting for them to finish. once they stopped. the air was still. and a small stout man walks out, takes a bow. the audience clap in acknowledgement. he steps onto the podium, and strikes!. the band bounces with the first note from "Danse Bacchanale". the beautiful, bright oboe plays, the hall ringing after each note. after the glorious solo, the soloist heaves a sigh of relief. and shines with a big smile.

the Stout man. signals the two horn players. the horns start the whole band with two bouncy notes that repeats 3 times. the clarinets come in, followed by the flutes. and then the clarinets take over, with the cornet occansionally prompting speed.

the band reaches a climax and races into a different phrase of anxiety.


oka, thats enough, and im not even into half the song!

the night was awesome. all the songs was played well!

and even Mr Lin told me the trumpets played well.

the awesomeness is unexplainable. its just dam good. okay. i got lots of stuffs. and here are some pics

guys. i'd like to clarify something.


the previous posts about nathanael, were written in anger so it maybe be a little harsh.

nathanael is a nice guy, it was just a small misunderstanding that we have cleared up.

a truly faithful person and one i can look up to.

and if u guys think he is an asshole. i will put a stick up yours, so those who dislike nathanael please understand he is a REALLY NICE GUY.

and i will clear the part about nathanael on the 13th of august at 7.30pm.

Currently Listening to " The Battle Of Jericho"

starts with a slow opener with the clarinets and euphoniums.

slowly moves into the actual battle itself with the the brasses blasting.

then, a wierd small medley, as if for dances, linking it to " victory ", a slow part.

after victory will reach a CLIMAX, with the horns leading the band. and when. a sudden change in yet another wierd dance

sax, flute and clarinets playing it. leading the brasses.

the next phrase is held by the lower brasses. showing of the poweress of the band and the army.

a oboe solo arrives next.

the trumpets come in with POWER! then. the whole song slows to signal the ending of the song.

the clarinets and brasses leading the band.

solo flute comes in....

clarinet.....

oboe....
the horns and euphoniums...

the band plays a comfortable chord. and ends with an echo.

went to church after band prac. which was fine.

at church, my cell had extra members! woohoo.

haha. okay. after church, Dexter, Kenn Gwee, Kenn Soh, Clarissa, Ming Ting and I went for dinner. Kenn Gwee and Ming Ting got Clarissa Chocolates as an extremely belated birthday gift. haha

after that, clarrisa had to go home. and the rest of us went back to church instead to study. i read my " Exorcist, The Beginning " book. which is not really that interesting so far. i guess i'll have to read it twice.

at church. they studied while i read my book. then i saw dexter's videos. haha

helped Ming Ting with " To Kill A Mockingbird "

yeap.

after that i left to meet my family for a movie. " 881 ". quite nice

Lets start with this morning.

i woke up at 9am! which is a good thing cos, i slept at 12 last night...

i lazed around untill like 10.55, which is not good cos i then rushed to church.

church now is really special, cos im worshipping god like nobody's business. i like it that way!

the reason is that i missed church the whole of the June holidays. so. i really missed out alot. even church camp. where everyone got something special out of it.. but anyways. i couldn't go cos my mom will never allow!

okay. after service, me, gabriel and my suppoused cell member whose name is timothy went to heartland mall, where we saw Monfort Military band.

they played 5 songs. out of which. i can only remember 4.

-Sesame Street
-The Incredibles
-Riverdance
-Pirates Of The Caribbean

these four. all of which was enjoyable.

i left after that and got home. where i prepared to go for PhilYouth's Concert.

okay.

Met Adeline at SCH. she was wearing make-up.

i generally don't like girls who wear make up for small matters.

this is just a concert mah.

okay. the concert was fanstatic. Mr. Glosz is REALLY GOOD!

but i think Mr Lin is abit better cos of experience

anyways. the concert was EXTREMELY ENJOYABLE!

after the concert. Ade and I went to eat at Vivo. haha.

she ordered some korean thingy that was really spicy. and i ordered vegetable and rice for the peranakan stall at food republic.

we stared at each other a few times. and i smiled once. haha
but she was shy and just looked at me. haha

i then went home. didnt fetch Ade home cos she lived Far Too Far.


and im not conducting for this year's concert anymore.. why?

which is dam heavy on trumpets. and therefore, MR Chan asked me whether i should conduct or play?

i decided to play. cos i couldnt let Terence play alone right?

and Nathanael took my place.

firstly. School was alright... Cos' on Thursdays, there is PE!

okay. yeah. after school, i went to catch SHILTON, which was consisted of Last Year's 3E6 class members.. the class im in now...

okay. the performance was good. but the vocals couldnt be heard. dont know why though.

okay. then at band. i tried out the FrugelHorn. which is like a Trumpet + Horn

therefore it creates a Big Trumpet Sound, but not as Bright and a Mellow Horn Tone.

cool? haha

i then took the junior band. which was almost crappy... like.. WTF?

okay. after band. i had to choose 4 junoirs to DANCE!? haha

okay.

as u all know. my band is having a concert on the 15th. and we are playing STAYIN" ALIVE.

so 4 CUTE? junoirs will be dancing.. and i have to Choreograph( correct? ) the dance.

yeah. after that. dinner...

btw, im fasting for 40 Days since this monday.

i actually started 2 weeks ago. but i kept breaking it without me knowing.. so yeah

BTW, im fasting meat.

okay. today was quite GOOD! in school at least.

after school. while waiting for band room to open, i went to play soccer. btw. i left my file in the Band room. so im collecting it.

NO! im NOT a Band GEEK!

okay. i was wearing my track shoes. and we all know that if u play in track shoes. the balls that take off from our feet are never going to fly.

and as we kick. we look like COO COO BIRDS! YAY!

therefore i took out my shoes..... which was BAD!!!!!!!!!!

i played reasonably well. running everywhere.

as soon. small blisters began to develop.....

after a while... my SKIN TORE!

WITHOUT BLISTERS!

the pain was CRAZY! i could see my flesh... and when one touches one's flesh.. its DAMN ITCHY...

but its healed now. as in. the skin is stuck to my flesh.. i guess that counts as healed

like WTH??!!

then i picked up my file from band room. which was on the 4th floor, i jumped slowly, hopping on one foot, allt he way up.

picked up my file. and then i called my mom to pick me up. as she has FORGOTTEN!

haha.

after tuition.. there was this like MAD guy, he kept looking at either :

i just stood there. ACTING ALL COOL. i smiled at him, as a gesture.

then he said... "Ni Shuai". which means... " You Handsome"

LIKE WTH!!!!!!!

so i replied without looking at the crazy guy. Trying my best not to freak out and at the same time, still trying to act Calm and Cool... i was like...

" damn it. if he touches me. im gonna walop him real hard. "

so. i ACTED COOL and in my heart. i was like... "WHEN IS THE BUS GOING TO ARRIVE!!!??
OKAY, i'll thake the next bus anyway just to get away...."

THANK GOD it was 136. the one i was suppoused to take!
WOOHOO!. and the RETARDED fella didnt come along!

after that. i reached kovan station and walked to my bus stop and took the bus home.
