anyways. my class watched. "The Replacements" today. Keanu Reeves.

he was the main actor. yah. its about the american game of Football. something happened and the "pro" players cannot play... But the cup has to go on.. so. they Get "Scabs" or "Replacements".

the team Keanu Reeves was playing in won alot of the games.. Of course, against other "scab" teams. Btw. Reeves was in the Washington Sentinels.

However. the strike that first caused the "pro" players their jobs. is stopping. and the "pro"s start coming back. and Reeves. who plays Nick "footsteps" Falco. is replaced by the "pro" Addy Matel.

Matel is unable to communicate well with all the other "replacements" and by the time the first half ends. Washington trails Dallas 17-0.

by then . Falco, played by Reeves. sees that his team needs him and arrives at the stadium.

he is confronted by Matel. who was critising his "scab" teammates before Falco arrives.

Falco shows excellent composure... and soon his "scab" teammates back him up.

Matel is chased away.

Falco Plays. he understands that since the strike is ending and so will their careers... it is like there is not tomorrow for him and his teammates.

during the game, they play their hearts out. like there is no tomorrow.

in the end. Falco, delivers the ball well to his teammate. who scores the touchdown that sends the Sentinels into the Play-offs. something that they havent done in seven years.

and oh yeah. did you know? Falco. was suppoussed to have let down his teammates in a similar situation, years ago... in the Sugar Bowl.

Nice film. with funny scenes.
